Valentine Party will be Friday, February 14th at 2:00. Students will
pass out their valentines and then we will watch the Peanuts Valentine movie.

Character
Counts: Our character focus for the rest of January and the month
February is FAIRNESS. We will be reading stories and having discussions about
being FAIR and what that means.
MATH: We will begin
Topic 15: Attributes of Two-Dimensional Shapes. HOMEWORK THIS WEEK ON TUESDAY, 2/4 AND THURSDAY, 2/6
READING: This week we
are talking about nonliteral language. (ex. Raining cats and dogs, etc.) Sometimes it is hard for students to
understand what the author is trying to say. READING HOMEWORK PACKET DUE MONDAY, 2/10!!!
SPELLING: New Spelling Lists will come home on Monday, February
3rd. The Test will be on
Thursday.
