will not be at school tomorrow. Something has come up that I need to take care
of. I did not get a chance to talk to the class on Friday about this. Let your
child know there will be a sub tomorrow and that I expect their best behavior.

Character
Counts: Our character focus for the rest of January and the month
February is FAIRNESS. We will be reading stories and having discussions about
being FAIR and what that means.
MATH: We will
finish Topic 4: Use Multiplication to Divide; Division Facts, this week. A
study guide will come home on Wednesday and the test will be on Friday, January
31st.
HOMEWORK
THIS WEEK ON TUESDAY, 1/28
READING: This week we
are talking about nonliteral language. (ex. Raining cats and dogs, etc.) Sometimes it is hard for students to
understand what the author is trying to say. READING HOMEWORK PACKET DUE FRIDAY, 1/31!!!
SPELLING: New Spelling Lists will come home on Monday,
January 27th. The Pre=test is Thursday and the Test will be on
Friday, for those who do not pass on Thursday.
