This is another beautiful Autumn
day. I love the crisp fall days!
Our
schedule:
We have our specials from 11:10 till 11:50 each day.
Monday (11/4) – P.E.
Tuesday (11/5) – Music
Wednesday (11/6) – P.E.
Thursday (11/7) – Music
Character Counts: Our character focus for October and the first week of
November is Respect. We will be reading stories and having discussions about
becoming Respectful and what that means.
MATH: This week we
will begin Math Topic 3: Apply Properties: Multiplication Facts for 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, 8. HOMEWORK THIS WEEK WILL BE TUESDAY
11/5 AND THURSDAY 11/7.
WRITING: We working on our new writing unit this week;
Informational Reports. This is always a fun unit for third graders. They love
exploring and learning more about something they are interested in.
READING: In our
Reading this week, we are working on referencing text. We will look at different
authors and articles to find information.
READING HOMEWORK PACKET DUE THURSDAY.
SPELLING: Students will get a new Spelling List on
Monday, November 5th. There is a pre-test on Wednesday. Those who
earn a 95% or 100% on Wednesday will not have to take the test on Thursday.
Watch for your student’s list on Monday in their Home Folder.

of the Week: Our students of the week for 11/4 – 11/7 are Jordan and Wesley.
They will be able to share Thursday, November 7th at 12:20.
