We had a great week this week. I do
need to follow up on a situation that has come up in our class. We have had a
little problem with students bringing things from home to play with at recess.
In our Vision Student Handbook, it states that toys from home are not allowed
at school. That includes sports equipment, stuffed animals, etc. For my
classroom, I would like to amend this by adding that this also includes any
jewelry, notebooks, glitter pens, mechanical pencils, etc. that BECOME toys.
These articles alone are not disruptive. However, when a student plays with
them during class they become a disruption.
Our
schedule:
We have our specials from 11:10 till 11:50 each day.
Monday (9/16) – P.E.
Tuesday (9/17) – Music
Wednesday (9/18) – P.E.
Thursday (9/19) – Music
